Massage Therapists

We're looking for licensed Massage Therapists! This is the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at a 2000 acre experiential resort in the Adirondack High Peaks, NewVida Preserve. The Preserve was formerly known as Paleface Ski Mountain and is now in its 2nd year as a resort focused on outdoor recreation & wellness. We are a family-run, diverse, collaborative and inclusive team, not a rigid corporate environment. 

Candidates must have the appropriate licenses, certifications and meaningful working experience. We will provide the dedicated space in our main lodge and market your services to our guests and members. But you are also able to market your services to your own customer base as we'd like to support you in flexibly building out a successful business. Thank you!

Job Types: Contract

Pay: $75.00+ per hour

Schedule: - Friday-Sunday preferred

Cafe Barista

We are seeking a Cafe Barista for Outpost Cafe

We're seeking a skilled Barista to be part of a dynamic and talented culinary team at NewVida Preserve's Outpost Cafe under the direction of an incredible Executive Chef, Vicky Breyette. The Cafe is currently open from Friday through Sunday from 7-11am. The Barista is responsible for opening/closing the cafe, welcoming customers, taking orders, making smoothies & espresso drinks and warming pastries. All applicants should have at least 1 yr of experience working in a cafe/bistro/coffee shop and in coffee brewing, milk frothing, and operating espresso machines.

  • Customer-oriented & friendly

  • Time management & ability to multi-task

  • Working as part of a team with common goals

  • Familiarity with restaurant POS systems a plus

Dishwasher

We are seeking a part-time or full-time dishwasher

Cook

We are seeking a part-time or full-time cook to be part of our culinary team at NewVida Preserve. During the peak season, our restaurant is open 5 nights / week (Wednesday through Sunday), profitable and growing, and serves one of the most diverse and globally inspired menus in the Adirondacks. We have an incredible new Executive Chef, Vicky Breyette, and talented FOH and Bar managers. You'd be joining a team that is passionate, creative, collaborative and calm under pressure. Though we will provide training and mentorship on the job, some experience working as a prep cook, line cook or station chef in a fast-paced restaurant setting is required. We're looking for a candidate that is committed to their work, and inspired to be part of a growing business. You must be able to consistently work a minimum of 20 hrs per week.
